Oxley, Joseph W., farmer, Section 18; PO Bethel; owns 160 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre; was born in Jefferson Co., Wisconsin, Jan. 10, 1856. Married Anna Bealer in 1877; she was born in Whiteside Co., Illinois in 1859; have one child -- Charles V., born Jan. 4, 1878. Mr. Oxley came to Fayette Co. in 1863.
