Salisbury, Henry, farmer, Section 16; PO Bethel; owns 400 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre; born in Stephenson Co., Illinois, in 1837. Married Antionette Murphy in 1860; she was born in New York in 1841; have two children --- Alfred M. and Clyde. Came to Fayette Co. in 1855, and located in Auburn Township and moved to Bethel in 1868. Is a Republican.
