Bahr, J. J., farmer and stock raiser, Section 3; PO Fayette; born in France April 30, 1830; came to this county in 1865; has 352 acres of land valued at $8,800. Politics, Greenbacker. Married Lucy Ann Timmerman; born Jefferson Co., New York, July 30, 1833; have seven children --- Eva M., born June 22, 1860; Willie A., born Nov. 12, 1861; Polly S., born May 2, 1864; Ada May, born Dec. 21, 1866; Fred J., born Aug. 16, 1868; Orson K., born Nov. 1, 1870; Thomas J., born Sept. 20, 1872. Emigrated from France when he was a child to Jefferson Co., New York; lived there thirty-five years; then came to this county where he has made a good property.
