Ostrander, Benjamin, farmer, Section 6; PO Windsor; born July 18, 1817 in Tompkins Co., New York; in 1833, came to Cook Co., Illinois; in 1868 came to his present farm; owns forty-seven acres, valued at $25 per acre. Married Delia Blakely, April 19, 1844; she was born Feb. 3, 1816; had seven children, four living -- Mary (now Mrs. Nichols), Laura (now Mrs. Sheldon), Riley B. and Kate (now Mrs. Deubois).
