Boyer, John J., farmer, Section 8; PO Clermont; owns 220 acres of land; was born in Wurtemberg, Germany, Jan 18, 1841; came to Ohio in 1848; lived there until he came here in June, 1855. He has been Road Supervisor. Married Elizabeth Ogle; she died in June 1864; has three children by this marriage --- William H., Margaret and Elmer G. Mr. Boyer’s present wife was Elizabeth Easterday; they were married March 12, 1866; she was born in Ohio; they have five children --- Edward, John B., Catherine, Alice May, and Lester.
