Schori, Nicholas, of the firm of Shori & Lehman, proprietors of the Elgin brewery; born in Switzerland, Nov. 28, 1833; came to this vicinity in 1857; engaged in farming until 1868; carried on the lumber business at Fort Atkinson from 1870 to 1873; since 1873, he has been in his present business. He is a member of the School Board. Married Mary Lehman in 1865; they have had six children, one died in infancy; the living are Rosa, Emma, Frederick and George and Eliza, twins.
