MOTT, Aaron J., baker and confectioner; born in Dutchess Co., N. Y., July 8, 1820; removed in 1840, to Warren Co., Penn., where he was married, Oct. 30, 1845, to Sarah Young; she was born in Venango Co., Penn., Feb. 8, 1828; they came to this county in 1857; engaged in his business in 1870; they have two children living - Blanche, born Aug. 17, 1847, and Delbert J., born April 14, 1860; lost one - Charles P., died June 9, 1859. Mr. M. is a Democrat. Mrs. M. is a member of the Episcopal Church.
