WARNER, Elmer, farmer, Sec. 35; P. O. Clermont; born in Medina Co., Ohio, 1823; moved to Iowa and Fayette Co. in 1853; settled on his present farm in the Spring of 1854. He was married in 1848 to to Miss Antoinette Crittenden, from Ohio; have had two children - Homer C., born Aug. 21, 1850; Charles, born Sept. 25, 1858; Charles died Feb. 9, 1872. Mr. W. has ninety acres of land, valued at $3,000. In religion, Methodist; in politics, National. His son, Homer C., is foreman in the office of the People's Paper & Alliance newspaper, Clermont, in which position he gives general satisfaction.
