Fay, John, farmer, Section 27 (Oran township), PO Fairbanks; born in the city of Chicago, 1849; went to Cedar Falls, Iowa, 1865; and came to this county in 1871. He married Miss Annie Eveardel in 1872; she was born in Germany in 1837; have two children --- Maggie, born May 10, 1860; Susan, born July 12, 1862; these two children are by her first husband. Are Lutherans. He rents his farm.
