Rawson, Walter, proprietor Rawson saw-mill, located on Section 3 (Fairfield township); PO Brush Creek; born in Lake Co., Ohio, Nov. 13, 1848; in 1856, he with parents came to Taylorsville; in 1868 erected their first saw-mill run by water power; in 1878 they rebuilt their mill, which is now operated by steam; they turn out from 500,000 to 800,000 feet annually. Married Hattie Gibbs Aug. 21, 1870; she was born in Windsor Co., VT, April 4, 1849; their children are --- Eda, born Sept. 15, 1871; Guy, born Jan. 17, 1873. Is a Republican. Property valued at $5,000.
