Thompson, John A., dealer in boots, shoes and groceries, Brush Creek, Iowa (Fairfield township); born in Carroll Co., Ohio, May 3, 1854; in 1855 , came to this county with parents, opened his store in this place in April, 1874. Married Drusilla A. Carroll May 27, 1875; she was born in Canada May 27, 1851. James M., born May 20, 1877, is their only child. They are members of the Christian Church and Mr. T. is a Republican.
