Willcox, Chandler, farmer, Section 16 (Fairfield township); PO Brush Creek; born in Jefferson Co., NY, April 30, 1820; at the age of four years his parents moved to Michigan; he, alone, came to this county in November, 1853. He married Elvira B. Woodward June 9, 1863; she was born in Chautauqua Co., NY, Feb. 5, 1821, and was formerly married to John Woodward, and has by this marriage, two children -- Samuel and Edmond; her oldest son was in the rebellion and was wounded in the side, from which he is disabled for life; he is now living in Minnesota. Mr. W. owns ninety acres of land, valued at $3,000, is one of the early settlers of this county. Is a Greenbacker.
