Andy Wolcutt, Longtime City Resident, Dies

Andy T. Wolcutt, 89, longtime resident of Estherville, died today [April 20, 1963] about 4:30 a.m. at Balmer Nursing Home where he was taken by ambulance this week after having been a patient at Holy Family Hospital. Death was attributed to complications of advanced age.

Born June 27, 1873, at Laurel, Marshall Co., Iowa, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Wolcutt.

Mr. Wolcutt and his wife, Minnie, were married in June 1923, at Jackson, Minn., and came to Estherville shortly after their marriage. They continued to make their home here, Mr. Wolcutt having worked as a switchman on the Rock Island. Mrs. Wolcutt died Jan. 13 of this year.

Funeral services for Mr. Wolcutt are to be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church, the Rev. Jack Wolter officiating. Interment will be in the Swan Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home all day Monday and until time of the services Tuesday morning.
