Mrs. Guro Johnson Dead

Mrs. Guro Johnson, wife of Ole Johnson, deceased, died at her home in Swan Lake Township Aug. 25, 1911.

Mrs. Johnson was born at Ulvik, Hardanger, Norway, October 4, 1849. She came to Emmet county in 1882 and has been a resident of the county since. She was married to Ole Johnson July 3, 1884. She was blessed with six children, three of whom survive her. Besides these she leaves to mourn her death her aged mother, four sisters, two brothers and five grandchildren, all living in Emmet county.
