ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Clarice Inman, 87, of Estherville will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 1995 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Chapel in Estherville with the Rev. Neal Armstrong officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery, Estherville. She died on Sunday, November 12 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville. Visitation will be held today, Monday, November 13 from 5-7 p. m at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born on March 14, 1908 in Hunt City, Ill., the daughter of James Allen and Myrtle (Islsey) Hiles and she was raised on a farm near the town. She attended Compromise County School and attended Hunt City High School. After receiving her education, she worked for a shoe factory in Olney, Ill. and later for her cousin's photo shop in Mattoon, Ill. In 1926, the family moved to Iowa. She married Rex Cecil Inman in 1932 in Bemidji, Minn. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Emmet County until retiring in 1952 and moving to Estherville. The couple moved to Longville, Minn., in 1965. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan Center in Estherville for the past 10 years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, MM Club and Ryan Club. She is survived by two sisters, Bernice Brown of Estherville; and Dorothy Jensen of Long Beach, Cal.; one sister-in-law, Ethel Hiles of Boca Raton, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
