Octonagerian Passes Away.

Mrs. J. B. Hutchinson died at the home of her son, W. A. Stone, on north Fourth street Wednesday, June 26th, after a brief illness. She was born near Rochester N. Y., on April 2, 1829, and on Aug. 4, 1849, was united in marriage to Nathan Stone. To this union were born eight children, seven of whom died in infancy, and the husband passed into the Great Beyond several years ago. On Oct. 11, 1892, Mrs. Stone was again married to J. B. Hutchinson, of Jackson, Minn., who departed this life some years ago. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church, with which denomination she had been affliliated since early womanhood, on Saturday morning, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. D. Vannoy, assisted by Rev. H. C. Hurd, of the Christian church. W. A. Stone, of this city and his family are the only immediate survivors. The remains were laid to rest at Oak Hill cemetery, there to await the resurrection morn.
