Death of Mrs. James B. Huntsinger

Catherine Elizabeth Hubbard was born in Westford, New York in 1859 and died at her home in Estherville, Iowa, September 25, 1917, aged 59 years and 7 months. In 1879 she was united in marriage to James B. Huntsinger. To this union six children have been born, all of whom are still living: Charlotte May Newville of Clear Lake, Wisconsin; Jessie Loar of Humboldt; James Huntsinger, Jr., of Watertown, South Dakota; Lillian Evans and Rosa St. John of Estherville, and Nellie Cook of Algona. Besides her husband and six children Mrs. Huntsinger leaves to mourn her sudden departure three brothers and twenty-five grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Huntsinger came to Estherville some thirty years ago where they have since resided. Their home is located on South Eleventh street. Mrs. Huntsinger had been in her usual health and had been out riding in an auto and returned home at 4:00 p.m. and was dead in less than an hour

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. Frederic Catlin in the Union Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Mesdames Wing and Noe sang three comforting songs. The body was laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery.
