LeRoy Hiles Laid To Rest in Oak Hill Cemetery Today

The funeral services for LeRoy Hiles were held this afternoon at the farm home at two o'clock and at the Christian Church at two-thirty.

Mr. Hiles was taken suddenly ill last week and on the third day of his illness was rushed to the Mayo hospital at Rochester, Minn. He passed away soon after he reached the hospital and the cause of his death was spinal meningitis by the medical authorities.

Mr. Hiles has been a resident of this county for the past twelve years. He was beloved by all who knew him. He was a fine neighbor and a friend to all in his neighborhood.

At the time of his death he was forty-two years of age and most of his life has been spent in farming.

He is survived by a wife and four children, all of whom are living at this time.

The Rev. Alva Ragsdale conducted the funeral services. Will West, Geo. Kirchner, Mike Woods, Warren Peterson, T. E. Anderson and Willard Crim acted as pall bearers. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery.
