Michael John Schultz was born on March 2, 1942 in Swea City, Iowa the son of Elizabeth Hagebock. He died on January 5, 2021 at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 78.

Michael grew up in the Estherville area and graduated from Estherville High School before attending college for two years. He enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1964.

Mike worked as a master plumber and for Richard's Mobile Home Service in California for a number of years. He also worked for Elvis, on his security team.

Mike married Eva Kathryn McFall on December 21, 2017 and the couple moved back to the area.

In his younger years, Mike enjoyed dancing, roller blade-ing, ice skating, carpentry. Lately he has enjoyed his dogs, and birds, and playing pool. He loved driving his Corvette and was a member of the Classic Mustang Club. Mike was very caring, helping anyone who needed it.

Mike is survived by his wife, Eva Kathryn Schultz; his children, Beth (Rich) Skalma and John Schultz; and four sisters, Dianna, Louise, Sharon, and Debbie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Dale Schultz.

A private family memorial service will be held.
