Sharon Kay Jensen was born on February 20, 1940 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Arnold and Ardella (Halvorson) LeMaire. She passed away on August 27, 2020 at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minnesota, at the age of 80 years.

Sharon attended Fairmont High School. Following high school she was employed as a CNA for many years. On May 26, 1973, she was united in marriage to Ronald Jensen in Fairmont. The couple made their home in Ringsted, Iowa where they farmed together for many years. After retirement they remained in Ringsted. Ron passed away on January 22, 2014. Shari remained in her home until 2019 when she moved to Fairmont to be closer to her children.

Sharon enjoyed going to Vegas with Ron for many years to gamble and celebrate her birthday. In her leisure time she loved to read mystery books and do word search puzzles. Shari was always willing to help a person or cause in need and was a very good person.

Shari is survived by her children Randy Howard and Lori Jensen, both of Fairmont, and her sister, Carol Kolb of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
