Mrs. M.J. Groves returned Saturday from Earlham where she was called by the illness of her father who passed away Tuesday. He was buried Thursday afternoon at the Glendale cemetery at Des Moines. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 3, 1915)

Mrs. M.J. Groves returned home the latter part of the week after having been at Des Moines for two weeks with her father, during his last illness. Death came on Tuesday, January 26th, and interment was made in Glendale cemetery at Des Moines on Thursday, the 28th. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, February 3, 1915)
