Mrs. Marion Davis
Oelwein – Mrs. Marion Davis 67, Oelwein and formerly of Estherville, died Monday [August 1, 1977] at Oelwein. She was the former Mrs. William [Marion Edith Stebbins] Bale.

Services for Mrs. Davis will be Thursday morning at the Hintz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with interment in Oelwein.

She moved from Estherville in 1948.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Wiley, Davis; three sons, Tom Bale, Moraga, Calif., Bill Bale, Edina, Minn., and Martin Davis, Aptos, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Whiton, Newport Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Edward Smith, Joplin, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Bale. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August, 1977)
