Heart Attack Fatal to Former County Resident
Mrs. Stanley Erickson of Ceylon, Minn., 45, former Emmet county resident, died suddenly Wednesday [July 18, 1956] afternoon of a heart attack at her home. She hadn’t been in ill health recently.

The Ericksons farmed in Ellsworth township until a few years ago and Mrs. Erickson was born and reared in Emmet county. She was the former Marie Carlson [Marie Olive Carlsen].

Mrs. Erickson is survived by 10 children, ranging in age from 18 months to 19 years. Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters including Mrs. Albert Andrews of Dolliver and Mrs. Everett Shaw of Estherville.

Last rites will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran church in Ceylon. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 19560
