Estherville – Services for Mrs. C.E. (Ethelyn Maude) Youmans, 92, Estherville, were held Wednesday morning at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bowe officiating. Interment was in East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Youmans died Saturday [October 18, 1980] at Holy Family Hospital.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Igou, she was born July 14, 1886, at Eagle Grove and was married to Curtis Edward Youmans at Park Rapids, Minn., in 1906.

The couple lived in Park Rapids until moving to Estherville in 1910.

Mrs. Youmans is survived by two sons, Peter Youmans [Raphael], Fremont, Neb., and Edward Youmans, West Chester, Pa.; one daughter, Geneta Youmans, Estherville; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 25, 1980)
