Mrs. Charles Hoffman [Huffman] Dies At Age of 31
Mrs. Charles Hoffman of Estherville, 31, died this morning at 8 in Holy Family hospital from from a heart ailment after a long illness. Mrs. Hoffman became ill the day before Christmas and has been confined to the hospital here and also one at Rochester, Minn., for most of the time since then.

Mrs. Hoffman, the former Wilma [June] Calvin, was born June 24, 1916, near Dolliver and had lived in Emmet county all her life. She was educated in Dolliver schools, graduating from high school there. She was married Oct. 11, 1936.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Robert, 11; two daughters, Linda Lee, 6; and Myrna Kay, 5; her mother, Mrs. Fruella [Pruella] Calvin of Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Dennison of Wilmer, Minn., and Mrs. Fred Davis of Dolliver; and two brothers, Joe Calvin of Alahambra, Calif., and Hal Calvin of Davenport.

Her father and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services have been set tentatively for 2 p.m. Monday at the Baptist church with the Rev. G.E. Forssell officiating.
