Armstrong Man Dies of Heart Attack
Armstrong – Wayne Huntley Warner, 46, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday [April 23, 1961] at his home here of a heart attack. He had not been ill. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Armstrong, the Rev. James Rowe officiating. Interment will be in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Slaba Funeral Home from this afternoon until noon Wednesday.

Mr. Warner was born March 28, 1915, in Iowa Falls, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Warner. He moved to Armstrong with his parents when he was six months old. Mr. Warner received his education in the Halfa Consolidated school. For the past 12 years he has been a street employee of the town of Armstrong.

Mr. Warner was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his parents and a sister, Mrs. Floyd (Jean) Knapp all of Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 24, 1961)
