Mrs. David George of Armstrong Dies Wednesday
Mrs. David George [Della May Webb], 69, of Armstrong, died at 11 o’clock Wednesday [August 28, 1946] morning in Holy Family hospital after an illness of nearly a year. She suffered a stroke and had been ill with heart disease until the time of her death.She was born in October [10] 1877 in Eldora and moved to Emmet county in 1921, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include her husband of Armstrong, one sister, Mrs. Nettie Meat, Sioux City, four sons, David M. George, Estherville, Harry, Lloyd, and Edward all of Armstrong, two daughters, Mrs. Jane Wylie, Lakefield, Minn., and Mrs. Gilbert Hill, Cedar Rapids and several grandchildren.
