The little ten year old son of George Felkey was kicked by a horse last Saturday [June 21, 1890] in the back of the head from the effects of which he died Wednesday [June 25, 1890]. The cut was a severe one and brain fever set in which hastened the end. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, June 27, 1890)
