Eugene Burgess Dead
Eugene [Henry] Burgess, a well and favorably known farmer residing near Armstrong died at his home Friday [September 5, 1913, per cemetery records September 6]. Deceased had been suffering for a long time with dropsy and heart trouble and all that loving and skilled hands could do was done for him but to no avail and although his death was not unexpected it came as a sad shock to his relatives.

Mr. Burgess leaves a wife and several children to mourn his sad demise.
