Mrs. Bossingham [Julia Sands], of Gridley, died last week. The funeral occurred Friday and the remains laid to rest in the Armstrong cemetery. Deceased and her husband had conducted the store in Gridley for a number of years. Mrs. Bossingham was one of those kind, good, motherly, Christian old ladies who will be greatly missed by a large circle of acquaintances outside of her own family. She cast on all with whom she came in contact, the reflection of a pure soul, gracious and noble disposition, and noble womanhood. It is such people who make this wicked world a pleasant place to life. Besides her aged husband she leaves several children to mourn the loss of the best friend they had on earth. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, May 29, 1907)

Mrs. Wm. Bossingham of Gridley, whose illness was mentioned in last week’s Courier, died last week. Mr. Bossingham’s old friends of this place sympathize with him. (Algona Courier, Algona, IA, May 31, 1907)
