Zufall Rites at Dolliver
Services Will Be Tomorrow
Funeral services for Alice Fay Zufall, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zufall, who died at 10 a.m. Saturday [December 2, 1933] will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal church in Dolliver.

The girl was born in Armstrong. For several years she has lived with her parents on the Ellsworth ranch east of Dolliver. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 4, 1933)

Alice Zufall Dies Saturday
Death Due to Complications From Appendicitis
Alice Zufall, fifteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zufall of the Dolliver community died Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at a local hospital. She had been brought to the hospital the Monday previous and underwent an operation for a ruptured appendix. Complications followed which caused her death.

Alice was born on August 20, 1918, at Armstrong and had spent her entire life in this community.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o’clock at the M.E. church at Dolliver with Rev. M.E. Yeager in charge. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 5, 1933)

The community was sorely grieved last Saturday to learn of the death of Alice Zufall, 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zufall. Death followed an operation for ruptured appendix. Funeral services were conducted by C.R. Yeager in the Community Church Tuesday afternoon, December 5th. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 6, 1933)
