Fairmont Man Dies
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon for F.C. Fuller of Fairmont at the Olson funeral home in Fairmont. His three daughters, all living in the Estherville vicinity, are Mrs. D.E. Quade, Mrs. Charles B. Anderson, and Mrs. James Hoien. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 8, 1944)

Funeral services for Frank C. [Francis Collins] Fuller, who died Jan. 8, were held last week at the Olson funeral home in Fairmont, Minn. Mr. Fuller was the father of Mrs. D.E. Quade, Mrs. Charles B. Anderson and Mrs. J.P. Hoien, Estherville residents.

Frank C. Fuller was the son of Elizabeth and William Fuller and was born in Knox county, Ind., Jan. 9 [?], 1851. He spent his boyhood days along the banks of Wabash river, seven miles from Vincennes. Shortly after his mother died, the family moved to Will county, Ill. It was here that he met and married Charlotte Lewis June 8, 1873. They had 13 children, nine of them girls and four boys. His wife, three daughters and three sons preceded Mr. Fuller in death. [Charlotte Jane Lewis Fuller died in Martin Co., MN February 10, 1942]

Mr. Fuller came from one of the America’s pioneering families. Both his grandfathers fought in the Revolutionary war and the War of 1812. Mr. Fuller pioneered farming in the mid-western states, going to Indiana, Illinois and Iowa and finally going to Fairmont in 1920.

He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. D.E. Quade of Estherville, Mrs. Pearl Powers of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. J.P. Hoien of Estherville, Mrs. J.H. Meis of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Charles B. Anderson of Estherville, Mrs. Fred Stonebeck of Farimont, and Roy Fuller of St. Paul, Minn.; 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great [great great] grandchildren.
