Sister-in-Law of Estherville Woman Dies
Word was received Tuesday of the death of Mrs. William J. (Clara) O誰eil of Lincoln, Neb. Mrs. O誰eil passed away Tuesday at Brian Memorial Hospital at Lincoln, of cancer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at Lincoln with burial and graveside services at Dolliver on Friday.

Mrs. O誰eil is the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Louis Barbas of Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 28, 1973)

Mrs. O誰eil Services Set Friday
Graveside services for Mrs. William J. O誰eil of Lincoln, Neb., will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Dolliver Cemetery, with the Rev. Edward R. Baack, pastor of Our Savior痴 Lutheran Church, Lincoln, officiating.

Mrs. O誰eil died Nov. 27 in Lincoln and funeral services are being held there today. The body will be brought to Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, where friends may visit after 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at the cemetery.

She was Clara M. Peterson, born Sept. 15, 1909 in Jewell, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Lars Peterson. When she was one-year-old, the family moved to the Dolliver vicinity where she grew up.

She is survived by her husband, William J. O誰eil of Lincoln; one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Frankie) Ostlund, Lexington, Neb.; four grandsons, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Peterson, Sioux City, and Le Roy R. Peterson, Fort Dodge.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Earl K. Van Derveer, who was killed during World War II, and her parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA November 29, 1973)
