Died – At his home in the south part of Estherville township on Tuesday, April 7th, 1885 Mr. Hendrick S. [Salveson] Espeset, age 77 years. The funeral services were attended by a large number, which were conducted at the house by Rev. Bull. Mr. Espeset had been a resident of the county some fifteen years and one of our most industrious citizens. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, April 17, 1885)
