Mrs. Ole Danielson who had resided in Estherville since 1895 passed away Sunday, March 2. She was 63 years of age but had been in failing health for a year and a half.

Brita Johannessen Skjeldaas was born in Lee County, Ill., Jan. 21, 1867. With her parents she came to Humboldt county, Iowa. Here she was confirmed in the Ullensvang Lutheran Church the 2nd of July, 1882. She was married to Ole Danielson, and in 1895 the family together with her father came to Estherville where she has resided since. She has been failing in health for a year and a half, but was bedfast less than a week, death coming Sunday evening. She was then 63 years and 11 day old. She is survived by two sons, Albert Danielson of Des Moines, and Joe Danielson of Estherville. Two sons and her husband having preceded her in death, Corneilius at the age of 8 years and Ole, at the age of 20 years. Mr. Danielson died in 1922, while her father lived to be 94 years, passing away at her home in 1924. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home on South 10th St., and at the Estherville Lutheran church at 2:30. Interment was made in the family plot at the Lutheran Cemetery, Rev. L.A. Mathre officiating. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 5, 1930)

Dies at Home of Her Son
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Brita Danielson, 63 years old, at the home at 2 o’clock and at 2:30 at the Estherville Lutheran church. Interment was made in the family lot at the Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. L.A. Mathre officiated. Mrs. Danielson died at the home of her son, Joe, after an illness of a year and a half. She was bedfast for less than a week however.

Brita Johannssen Skjeldans was born in Lee county, Ill., Jan 21, 1867. Later she moved to Humboldt county with her parents. There she was confirmed in the Ullinsvang Lutheran church, July, 1891. She was married to Ole Danielson and in 1895 the family together with her father removed to Estherville and she has resided here since that time.

She is survived by her sons, Albert Danielson of Des Moines and Joe Danielson of this city. Two sons and her husband preceded her in death, Cornelius at the age of 8and Ole at the age of 20. (Estherville News, Estherville, IA, March 6, 1930)
