Dies of Heart Attack; Rites to Be Tuesday
Mrs. O. A. (Palma Torene) Solmonson, 63, rural Estherville, died at 7:36 p.m. Saturday at Holy Family Hospital following a heart attack. She had been hospitalized since last Monday.

She was born Oct 26, 1905, at Fertile to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ouverson. She was educated at Fertile schools and attended Cedar Falls Teachers college. Mrs. Solmonson came to Emmet County in 1925.

She was married Sept 3, 1926, to Orvie Solmonson. The couple farmed north of Gruver ever since their marriage.

She was a member of Midway Country Club and had been active in Farm Bureau Women's groups. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran church and was active in the Church's women's organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Orvie; one son, the Rev. Alan Solmonson, Vancouver, Wash; two daughters, Mrs. Hans (Norman)Tvedt, Estherville; Mrs. Ernest (Shirley) Wentzed, Fort Huachuca,
Ariz; 10 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Earl Kimble, Phoeniz, Ariz.; Mrs. Walter Hill, Santa Ana, Calif.; Mrs. Hale Cheatham, Lihue Kaual, Hawaii; Mrs. James Meldow, San Francisco; Mrs. Larry Ritter, Clear Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Estherville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating. Burial will be in the Estherville Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville from 7 p.m. today until 11 a.m. on Tuesday when the casket will be taken to the church.
