Estherville – Mrs. Judith Marie (Judy) Skog, 75, Estherville, died Saturday [October 22, 1977] night at Holy Family Hospital.

Services for Mrs. Skog will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stanley Eyeburg, Estherville, and the Rev. Harold Stoa, Duluth, Minn., officiating. Interment will be in the Estherville Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, until noon Tuesday, when the body will be taken to the church.

Mrs. Skog was born Feb. 9, 1902, at Graettinger, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hanson. She received her education in Graettinger schools and was married to Carl Skog Sept. 5, 1926. The couple lived in Estherville, where the late Mr. Skog was employed as a conductor for the Rock Island Railroad.

She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church’s women’s society, Holy Family Hospital Auxiliary, Good Samaritan Center Auxiliary, and Sons of Norway.

She is survived by one son, Denis Skog, Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Jarrett (Faye) Dawald, Owatonna, Minn.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Peter Geil and Mrs. Earl Hornby, both of Estherville, and Mrs. J.H. Workintin, Luverne, Calif.; and one brother, Chester Hanson, Oceanside, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and four brothers.
