Estherville – Services for Mrs. James (Lillie) Reeder, 96, will be held Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed West of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 1984 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Lillie Estella Spratt was born Jan. 1, 1888 at Walnut, the daughter of William and Sarah (Sauerman) Spratt. She attended Sac county schools and moved with her parents to Estherville in 1916 where she has lived since. On Oct. 26, 1926, she was united in marriage with James Albert Reeder at Estherville. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Mrs. Irlene Spratt, Ankeny, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1946; her parents; four brothers and two sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 24, 1984)
