Death
Estherville – Services are pending at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville for Gary Lee Olson, 24, Forks, Wash., formerly of Estherville. He died Sunday as the result of a motorcycle accident near Sekiu, Wash. He is the son of Harold and Marilyn Olson, Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 6, 1985)

Estherville – Services for Gary Lee Olson, 24,Forks, Wash., formerly of Estherville, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Berger officiating. Interment to be in Oak Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday, Aug. 4, 1985 at Sekiu, Wash.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Olson was born Aug. 27, 1960 at Estherville and was the son of Harold M. and Marilyn (Michelson) Olson. He moved to Forks, Wash. in 1978 and was employed by Bud Ulin Logging Co. He remained single. He enjoyed fishing and all sports and outdoor activities. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his parents Harold and Marilyn Olson; three brothers: Wayne Olson, Forks, Wash., Craig Olson, Estherville and Dale Olson, Council Bluffs; and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Michelson, Jackson, Minn.
