Estherville – Memorial services for Mrs. Harold (Delma) Graff, 72, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Kunz officiating. She died Monday, March 18, 1985 at her home.

Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. [Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery]

Delma D. Dyke was born Nov. 13, 1912 on a farm in Ward County, North Dakota, the daughter of Charles and Ellen (Hehmeke) Dyke, and at the age of six, moved to Estherville to live with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Dyke. She attended Estherville School graduating in 1931. She taught school for two years in rural Emmet County Schools. On May 8, 1933 she was united in marriage with Harold Graff. Following their marriage they farmed in Emmet County and in 194- moved to Superior where she taught school and was a clerk in the post office. The couple moved back to Estherville in 1960. She was a member of the Christian Church; held offices in Estherville Women’s Club and was active in Retired Senior Citizens, and was active in the Superior Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; a son Robert Graff and a daughter Bonnie Lair; three grandsons; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Robert (Corine) Hagen, Berthold, N.D., Mrs. LeRoy (Florence) Quandt, Ryder, N.D.; four brothers: Delbert, Dallas, William and Marvin, all of Plaza, N.D. area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 19, 1985)
