Leonard Kruse
Ringsted – Services for Leonard Raymond Kruse, 75, Ringsted, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver with the Rev. Dale Jenson and the Rev. Don Sarff officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville.

Mr. Kruse died Monday [May 4, 1981] at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Ringsted, until noon prior to services.

The son of Fred and Carrie Kruse, he was born Feb. 11, 1906, near Estherville and received his education in rural schools in the area.

He lived west of Ringsted until May, 1975, when he became a resident of Valley Vue Nursing Home in Armstrong. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mr. Kruse is survived by two brothers, Arthur Kruse and Clifford Kruse, both of Ringsted; and one sister, Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Jensen, Ringsted.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 6, 1981)
