ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Catherine Corkery, 87, of Estherville will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14 at the Avera Holy Family Chapel in Estherville with Father Jerry Cosgrove officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Estherville. She died on Feb. 10 [2000] at Avera Holy Family Hospital. There will be no visitation.

She was born on July 8, 1912 in Olwein the daughter of Daniel and Katherine (Rafferty) Corkery.

She received her education in the Olwein schools.

She lived with her parents until the time of their deaths and has lived with her sister for the past 55 years.

She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Gifford of Estherville; one niece, Cathleen Bonstead and husband Steve of Sioux City; one nephew, Dr. Chris Gifford and wife Virginia of Tulsa, Okla. and great nieces and nephews, Kyle, Kellon, Kurt, Michael, Elizabeth and David.
