Requiem high mass for Mrs. Rachel Sterling who died yesterday [June 29, 1947] at Holy Family hospital will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Saint Patrick's church. Rosary will be said tonight at 9 o'clock in the Sternborg Funeral home. Burial will be in the Cathoic cemetery.

Mrs. Sterling was 79, the youngest of 13 children. She was born on May 24, 1868 in Ireland and came to this country in 192?, living at Spring Valley, Ill. and later at Graettinger. She moved to Estherville six years ago.

Death came yesterday as result of a stroke. She had been hospitalized since last Tuesday and had been in failing health for some time. Only near surivor is her son, James Sterling with whom she mde her home at 1108 Fifth Avenue N.
