Estherville – Services for Mrs. Ronald (Ellen) Bittner, 31, Estherville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Albert O. Grendler officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday morning, Aug. 28, 1984 at her parents’ home in Spirit Lake.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Ellen Jean Boone was born Aug. 3, 1953 in Estherville, the daughter of Lloyd and Olive (Hendricksen) Boone. She attended Estherville Schools where she graduated from high school in 1971. She attended Iowa Lakes Community College two years. On July 9, 1977, she was united in marriage with Ronald Bittner in Estherville. The couple lived in Phoenix, Ariz. and moved back to Estherville last year. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Elizabeth and Christina; her parents of Spirit Lake and a brother David Boone of Gilbert, Ia. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, Augusts 30, 1984)
