Hugh [Andrew] Taylor, 90, Milford, died Friday, Aug. 29, 1980, at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake.

Services for Mr. Taylor were held Monday, Sept. 1, 1980, at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with interment in High Lake Cemetery.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Taylor, he was born Oct. 5, 1889, in Jasper County. He received his education in Jasper County country schools and was married to Theresa Thiel on Feb. 12, 1918, at Estherville, and the couple lived in North Dakota until 1934 then moving to Northwest Iowa to farm. He was associated with the Dairy Herd Improvement Association until retiring.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Theresa Milford; one son, Wendell Taylor, Estherville; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Bugbee, New Rockford, N.D., and Mrs. John Guge, Estherville. (Milford Mail and Terril Record, Milford, IA, September 4, 1980)
