Erick Isaacson died at his home in Graettinger Sunday morning, Dec. 13, 1896 [per gravestone Dec. 12]. Mr. Isaacson was one of the early settlers of Emmet county, and three years ago moved to Graettinger. He was a good man and the entire community regret his death. He was buried at Wallingford [High Lake] Tuesday. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, December 17, 1896)
