A.O. Christopher from Luverne, Ia., was here last Monday to attend the funeral of his grand-father, Lars Johnson who died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Anderson on Friday, Dec. 30th. Deceased was about 85 years of age and was one of the oldest and respected citizens of High Lake. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, January 9, 1896)
