J.B. Kent was called away Sunday evening to attend his father, who was reported as not expected to live. (Rolfe Reveille, Rolfe, IA, February 11, 1892)

J.B. Kent received a telegram Sunday last, that his father was dying. He took the first train and arrived in time to attend the funeral. Mr. Kent, Senior, was 72 years old. He lived in Polk Co., east of Des Moines. (Rolfe Reveille, Rolfe, IA, February 18, 1892)
