Estherville – Services for Mrs. Olena Iverson, 86, Estherville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver with the Rev. Dale Jenson officiating. Burial will be at High Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Iverson died Thursday [December 30, 1976] morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kinnard.

She was born Aug. 31, 1890 to William and Volbert Tiredingjerde Olson. She was educated in Illinois schools. Mrs. Iverson married John Iverson on Oct. 8, 1918 at Morris, Ill.

Shortly after their marriage, the Iversons moved to a farm in Jack Creek Township. Later they retired to an acreage in High Lake Township.

In 1973, Mrs. Iverson moved to Estherville and lived with her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver.

She is survived by one son, Norman Iverson, Boulder, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Leona) Kinnard, Estherville; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Sue Thorson, Morris, Ill.

Mrs. Iverson is preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
