Estherville – Funeral services for Ann Iverson, 83, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, south of Gruver, with Pastor Jack Torgersen officiating. Interment will be at High Lake Township Cemetery, Wallingford. She died Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1915 in Graettinger, the daughter of Ole and Synneva (Ovsthus) Olson. She received her education in the Graettinger schools graduating from Graettinger High School in 1933. On March 6, 1938, she was united in marriage to Edgar C. Iverson in Graettinger. Following their marriage, the couple farmed near Wallingford until their retirement and then moved into Wallingford. In 1983, the couple moved to Estherville. Edgar died Oct. 26, 1985. Ann has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Care Center since 1995.

She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church south of Gruver and the WELCA.

She is survived by sons: Ron Iverson of Jefferson, Colo.; Clair Iverson of Estherville; Lynn Iverson of Estherville; grandchildren: Wendy Fredericks, Jeffrey, Kirk, Tracy, Jamie and Mark Iverson; and five great-grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 18, 1999)
